In Praise of my many Story Mentors

Studying at The Drama Action Centre in Sydney (sadly now defunct), under the leadership of the phenomenal soul that was Bridget Brandon, was life-changing. Attending D.A.C led to everything else. Subsequently, I enjoyed generous, informal mentorship and encouragement from many storytellers, including Chardi Christian, Frances Ingram, Donna Jacobs Sife, Brian Hungerford and Moses Aaron in Australia. There has been significant support from the US too, especially Fran Stallings and the ever- inspiring Laura Simms.
I wouldn’t be the storyteller I am today without their kindness, as well as the wider global community of storytellers I continue to be nourished by.
